MeraNews Network, Gandhinagar: A two-day monsoon session of Gujarat Assembly will begin on Tuesday, September 18 in Gandhinagar. Despite its brief period, the session is likely to be stormy and volatile following the announcement by the Congress to raise the issues related to farmers including loan waiver in the house.

The opposition Congress has also given a no-confidence notice against the Vijay Rupani government and it is likely to be tabled on the 2nd and last day of the session if considered by the Speaker. Deputy chief minister of the state Nitin Patel dubbed the no confidence motion by the Congress as a publicity stunt by the opposition to misguide the public. Shailesh Parmar, the deputy leader of the opposition had moved the motion against the government.

Six bills will be tabled for discussion and approval of the House during the session. Total six bills -mostly the amendment bills are slated to be tabled on the 2 days of this brief Monsoon session. On the first day today, the house would be adjourned after passing condolences and a special condolence motion on late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
