MeraNews Network, Ahmedabad: Gujarat home minister Pradipsinh Jadeja has been diagnosed with throat and mouth cancer and recently underwent a surgery for the same at a prominent cancer hospital. Jadeja has not been keeping well for some time and he was advised to undergo tests to ascertain the health issue he was suffering from. According to hospital sources, Jadeja is recuperating well since the surgery last Sunday.

Sources close to Jadeja informed that the minister was having troubles in opening his jaw and had undergone tests at HCG Hospital off SG Highway in Ahmedabad. The doctors informed him that he is suffering from mouth and throat cancer and it could be treated only through surgery. Dr. Kaustubh Patel and his team conducted the surgery on the minister.

The hospital informed that in the surgery that lasted for six hours, cancer cells from Jadeja’s mouth were destroyed. A cell sample has been sent to the laboratory to ascertain the stage of cancer he is suffering from. The doctors informed that the minister has been admitted into the ICCU and his health is currently stable.
